‘FTP’ For the more seasoned users, FTP or File Transfer Protocol is a great way to have your own secure file depository on the Printline job server. The main difference between using FTP versus the “Send print job” utility is that you have the ability to manage your files, create and delete folders, organise and update files such as manuals which might be re-printed on a regular basis. As you use a secure login, your files will be stored on the server until you wish to delete or modify them, in other words you manage it. It can also be used to retrieve Scans or Graphic Artwork performed by Printline. FTP account application FTP accounts are free. However you will need to apply for one by filling out the email form with your details. This may take up to 48 hrs to process and be sent to your email.
