File types accepted
1. PDF (.pdf) adobe Portable Document Format. PDF files are by far the easiest to handle. You can create them using any PDF writer or use the built in PDF creator if you have one.
2. PLOT (.plt) – plot files are created from ADI or HDI drivers for OCE TDS-400 or use generic driver like a HP-GL2 to create plot files, although these have less features.
3. POSTSCRIPT (.eps) – postscript files are created from the Postcript 3 driver.
4. TIF (.tif) – Tagged Image File, created from an image writer. Not the optimum file type for quality.

Go to “Download printer driver” if you need to download a driver for your computer.

Some plans require colour to differentiate lines and legends or have colour rendered content, in this case you need colour plan printing. Printline offers professional quality Designjet outputs with excellent line reproductions and superb graphic output quality of rendered objects.

For best results and reliable consistent printing we recommend you use Adobe PDF.
You will need to set your PDF creator to a “High Quality Print” setting or configure it manually. You will need a minimum of 300dpi for images, 600dpi maximum. All images in files can be left as RGB colour space. Your document should also be scaled correctly, for example an A1 poster should measure 84.1cm x 59.4cm.
Please open & check your PDF file before sending the job to Printline.
Image files such as JPEG and TIF can also be used.

If you need to copy an existing paper colour plan see “Copying” on the menu for further information.
